One of our most popular dance boards is The District. (This board is also Co-founder Saumirah McWoodson's favorite board!) We know this is one of our best sellers for many reasons! Not only is The District one of our sprung portable dance floors, but--with a diameter of 38.5 inches--our District dance board is the largest circular sprung dance board in the market. Though the surface area of this board is so large (and perfect for doing a virtual ballet class or for practicing a variety of tap dance combinations!), it only weighs 10 pounds! With the size and weight of this this incredible board, it is portable enough to bring along to dance competitions or to have backstage at a...
Every brand has a story, right? Following is a bit of the story of Dance Daze Dance Boards. After the pandemic hit, and after we knew that it was going to last a little longer than we may have originally believed, Dance Daze Dance Boards founder Saumirah McWoodson had gotten into the habit of creating free digital content for kids every week. But, more importantly, it was an experience of being in an environment that it outside of my regularly scheduled programming that helped to re-invigorate my creativity. That's one of the many reasons that I love traveling. (Side note: I finally let myself watch The World's Most Amazing Vacation Rentals on Netflix, and let's just say, I intend to be traveling a little farther than across the bridge to SF in 2022!) Besides getting to experience different people and different cultures (YES, even going...
Are you working to have a creative practice in your life or to regularly schedule time for artistic, inspiring activities that feed your soul? If so, I think that's absolutely great. But what happens on the days when you don't feel like doing the creative work?
